UKTV has recommissioned four more series of the award-winning factual entertainment series,\u00a0Bangers & Cash<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(52×60\u2019) for its factual channelU&YESTERDAY\u00a0<\/strong>and free streaming service,\u00a0U<\/strong>. Spin-off sister show,\u00a0Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics<\/strong>\u00a0has also been re-ordered for four more series. (20×60\u2019).<\/p>\n

The 72-episode order surpasses all previous commissions or recommissions by UKTV in terms of number of hours and episodes, and will ensure new episodes of both series are air on well into 2028.<\/p>\n

Produced by Air TV,\u00a0Bangers & Cash<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0follows the work of the family-run classic car auction house, Mathewsons, based in the picturesque area of North Yorkshire. The vast knowledge and unique charm of the Mathewson family, coupled with the stories behind the vintage vehicles and their owners, generates an unapologetically authentic and warm programme.\u00a0Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics<\/em><\/strong>sees the\u00a0Bangers<\/em>\u00a0production team demonstrate how difficult it can be to make money buying, restoring, and selling classic cars as they take (or ignore) advice from the Mathewsons to purchase a vehicle at a Mathewsons auction, send it for a professional restoration and then re-auction it.<\/p>\n

Bangers & Cash<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0have been commissioned by Tracy-Jean, Commissioning Executive and Helen Nightingale, Head of Factual and Factual Entertainment Commissioning and ordered for U&YESTERDAY by Adam Collings, Director of Programming, Factual & Factual Entertainment and Hilary Rosen, Director of Commissioning. Executive Producers for Air TV are Andy Joynson and Morland Sanders. Series Producer on\u00a0Bangers & Cash\u00a0<\/em>is Gregor Stewart and Series Producer for\u00a0Restoring Classics\u00a0<\/em>is Holly Pywell. John Anderson is Camera Director on both series and Toby Foster will continue to provide the distinctive voiceover for both series as well.<\/p>\n

Bangers & Cash<\/em>\u00a0continues to be U&Yesterday\u2019s top performing title. Series 12 (which premieres today \u2013 July 31, 8pm) and Series 13 (TX Q1 2026) had already been commissioned. The new order will see the four new series air from next year , along with the four new series of\u00a0Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics<\/em>. Series 7 (TX October) and Series 8 of\u00a0Restoring Classics<\/em>\u00a0(TX Q1 2026) had also\u00a0previously been commissioned<\/a>. All episodes are available on demand on\u00a0free streaming service U<\/a>, alongside U exclusive series\u00a0Bangers & Cash: Under the Bonnet<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>and the one-off special,\u00a0Bangers & Cash: Live<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
