Air TV has produced more than 12 hours of live content as part of their coverage of the UK’s largest sports-focussed festival.

Co-founded by England international rugby stars Will Greenwood and Austin Healey, Festival of Sport took place last weekend, offering thousands of children the opportunity to try dozens of sports over one weekend, supported by well known sporting legends from across the UK. More than 1600 young people took part in the event this year which took place on the Packington Estate in Warwickshire.

Air TV’s team used their new Mobile Production Unit live outside broadcast facility to produce interactive content throughout the weekend. This was shown live on the event’s big screens as well as on the festival’s social media channels and website. Their coverage included live programming of key sporting moments, multi-camera coverage of on-stage entertainment, live walkarounds from across the site, and social media highlights reels throughout the weekend.

Sporting legends who were involved over the weekend included Olympians, Paralympians, world record-holders and international capped stars. They all actively participated throughout the weekend, coaching and playing alongside youngsters.
